Our warranties range from construction-only, all the way up to 10 years post-completion.

You may be able to get a warranty put in place whilst the works are ongoing; however, to get the maximum level of protection out of your policy, we recommend taking it out before construction has commenced.

We highly recommend that you read through each of the policies to determine which one is best for you. Take a look at our Cover Options above to decide which cover is most appropriate for you.

Both the client and builder can take out a Domestic and Commercial warranty without it affecting the warranty in any way; however, both builder and homeowner must sign the documents before we will put a warranty in place.

If you use a builder who isn’t a member of the FMB, you will not be able to take out a 10-year warranty and we will only be able to offer cover on contract values of up to £50,000.

However, if you use a builder who is a member of the FMB, not only will you be able to take out the above policies up to a contract value of £1,000,000, but you will also receive discounts on your policy, too.

The excess for our Domestic and Commercial Warranties is £350.
